Meet your FHR staff!
Tucson native, University of Arizona graduate and former Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona Chief Operations Officer Meghan Heddings is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of FHR programs. She also has oversight of FHR Cares, Inc., which awards grants to non-profit agencies that serve the less fortunate.
Cris develops and oversees the Counseling Division which encompasses the Homeownership Programs and Student Debt Relief Program. Cris has been with the organization since 1998 and created this division.
Director of Property Management
Krista leads our multi-family affordable housing team, overseeing property operations and affordable program compliance. She has over 18 years’ experience in the multi-family housing industry, and has done everything from Leasing to Asset Management. She has spent the last 11 years working at FHR and enjoys helping provide affordable housing opportunities to the Tucson community.
Carmen runs our Housing Counseling program services which include conducting homeownership education workshops and one-on-one counseling to discuss budgeting, credit counseling and pre-purchase counseling. Carmen has worked in homeownership counseling for over 5 years and is dedicated to helping individuals and families make educated decisions that work for their needs.
Accounts Payable Specialist
Irma is responsible for all areas of Accounts Payable including paying invoices in a timely manner, researching discrepancies and assisting vendors with questions on payables.
As Office Manager, Danita has provided 23 years of expertise in customer service and administrative support at FHR. Danita has full knowledge of our housing counseling services and eligibility requirements for the down payment assistance programs guiding our clients through the home buying process. In addition to answering all the incoming calls, Danita assists our housing counselors in gathering and verifying information and coordinating appointments.
As the accountant, Charmel is responsible for tracking and recording all financial activity within the organization, researching state and local policies, statutes and laws that may benefit the organization and collaborating with the Executive Director to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
